The bright end of the collar wall: anchors and sailboats, flamingos, pineapples, beach balls, sea turtles, succulents, butterflies, watermelons and stars and stripes. Around thirty patterns, all from Up Country, the Rhode Island maker whose collars are nylon webbing with a colorfast ribbon overlay and rust-resistant hardware, made in the USA.

Every collar here is $24.99 and comes in four widths and sizes, from XS for 6 to 12 inch necks through Large for 15 to 21 inches; a few patterns are also offered as a martingale for dogs who back out of a buckle collar. The same prints run across the matching leashes where we have them, and the coastal ones look right with a bandana layered over the top.

Sizing is by neck measurement, not weight, and the ribbon overlay means the collar should sit with two fingers of room: how to measure takes two minutes. When the season turns, the holiday collars and plaids take over the wall, and the summer prints move to the back of the wall.
